Heat Wave in the Hamptons?
A sneaky Whole Foods patron snapped this picture of the Richard Castle penned Heat Wave inspiration Kate Beckett looking like she just stepped off the beach for a quick food run this afternoon. The statuesque brunette bought several items from the produce section and carried them out in her trendy oversized bag, heading in the direction of her novelist partner’s Hamptons home. Is the notoriously private detective the dark haired companion who was seen arriving under the cover of darkness two nights ago? We will get to the bottom of this mystery, even if we have to do all of the detective work ourselves!

Hamptons Hideaway?
Looking casual, relaxed (and pantsless!), best selling author Richard Castle was snapped just after sunrise taking in the view over the beach of his sprawling home in the Hamptons this morning. The trendy beach town is abuzz with rumors that he arrived with a gorgeous brunette in tow. Could it be? Did the fun loving writer finally woo his detective muse and drag her to the beach for the summer? Our best Page Six snoops are on it, stay tuned.

Magic in the air? Or just murder?
Writer Richard Castle was spotted with his Nikki Heat muse, Kate Beckett, outside of Drake’s Magic Shop in Manhattan this Thursday afternoon. The two, still the subject of rampant dating rumors, shared a moment against the glass window that had passersby stopping to watch curiously from the street corner. If proximity and body language are any indication, the duo definitely seem to be working on a little magic of their own after hours…

Blast from the past
A diligent Page Six reader unearthed this tantalizingly playful snapshot of the now hugely popular NYC crime fighting duo, Richard Castle and Detective Kate Beckett, getting personal at a book reading for the epic conclusion to his Derrick Storm novels three years ago. With short hair and a saucy pink dress, Detective Beckett already seems to have a hold on her favorite writer - no matter what (or who!) he tries to put between them. This is the kind of chemistry you just can’t manufacture, and if this early image is any indication, their legendary sparkage has been there right from the get go.

Penny for your thoughts?
Has the always loquacious Richard Castle finally tired out his muse and partner Kate Beckett? Spotted together at the East River docks Thursday morning, the twosome engaged in an animated conversation which ended abruptly when the detective began waving money in her partner’s face. After three years it appears that Ms. Beckett may have discovered a way to keep him quiet. Bummer, we were hoping it would be handcuffs.

Make a wish!
Celebrating his birthday in style down by the beach in the Hamptons, best selling novelist Richard Castle cut into his delicious looking chocolate cake this Tuesday afternoon, surrounded by friends, family, and several members of the NYPD. Most notably in attendance was the writer’s Nikki Heat muse, Detective Kate Beckett, pictured standing sweetly by his side during the festivities. Many curious onlookers snapped pictures as the casually dressed detective pulled her writer in for a birthday hug, seemingly unaware of the implications already flying about their relationship status. To further fuel the flames, the duo snuck off under the nearby boat ramp to eat their cake free from the prying eyes of the public. We hope whatever she gifted him for his special day was worth it!

Busted?
A visibly peeved Kate Beckett shot daggers into the crowd of women mobbing her unconventional partner Wednesday night as the twosome tried (and failed) to slip out of an Upper East Side club unnoticed. The pretty brunette was trying to cover up as the cameras came out and the throng of fans began begging Castle for autographs on books, money, and even bared body parts. The seasoned writer, more than used to his share of female attention, seemed accommodating but politely refused to sign anywhere inappropriate. Beckett waited impatiently by his side until he expertly extracted them, waving jovially as he steered the visibly annoyed detective to their waiting car with a hand on her lower back. As they continue to deny that they are in a relationship, the partying pair seem to be spending more and more off-duty time together. Something doesn’t quite add up here.
